Housekeeping was once been said as one of the major types of services that are being offered. They can be anywhere like the hospitals and also majorly in hotels. You may have thought that their job are easy to do, but no it is not. They also have responsibilities which needs to get done. They should be able to clean all spots in a house or in a building without anyone telling them to do such. It is their own initiative and their own way if that place or that area would be needing some cleaning. It has been their full responsibility in making sure that everything gets tidy and clean. They are supposed to empty the trash cans, take the garbage out and replacing the towels and toilet papers. They must be the one maintaining the everything in the house or in the hotel, mostly we can find them in a hotel and that place is surely one of the places that need to always be well maintained.

We usually would compare them to the janitors that we see, for, in fact, they greatly differ from them. What we usually think is they both have the same function. Let us differentiate them through the works they do. The janitors do more than what housekeepers can do, they clean and whenever there are things that need to be repaired they have to do it.

They also are responsible for the equipment which is used for cleaning. They usually use wheeled carts in order for them to have an easy way of carrying their cleaning equipment. They would also use vacuum cleaners when they clean the floor, or they also bring with them power buffers and floor polishers.

They could also be the one to train new aspiring housekeepers. If you have ever notices someone or a housekeeper bringing with him another one, that mean he is training the newbie. They may be tasked to do this because they got to teach the other one about cleaning and everything they do everyday. And this becomes one of their major responsibilities.

They must know how to be happy no matter what their client or the person who hired them should tell them, only things that are related to their job. Even when you think that it is hard for you to do the job willingly as long as it is work related. Because you are showing respect through being happy while doing their job.

You should also be good with management. Not just with your self or your time, but also to the thing you are doing. One great benefit of being able manage things you can easily coordinate with everything and you could be could with arranging things to the place where they should be.

Most importantly they are the ones who must address everything that a hotel or motel tenant should ask. They are the ones who deliver things that are needed in the room. They could be more on room services and taking care of what the hotel customer would want to have.
